To all the parents and families of Children's Medical Group:

 

During this time of pandemic spread of the Corona virus (COVID-19), we are dedicated to providing continuing care to all of our patients. With the evolving information that is being released everyday, we in the office are doing our best to manage and limit the spread of germs to our patients as well as the staff here at Children's Medical Group. Our exam rooms as well as our waiting room area are being cleaned thoroughly throughout the day.

 

Our staff will be asking specific questions related to travel and known contacts in order to triage our patients properly. If your child is scheduled for

a physical and has symptoms of fever, cough, or upper respiratory distress, please contact the office before coming to the appointment. We are asking

for your assistance in limiting the spread by limiting the family that comes into the office.

 

If there is a child that needs to be seen, please limit the visit to the sick child and one caregiver.

 

Please do not hesitate to call us for help and advice if your child's illness is worsening. As always, we can help with any problems requiring medical care and a visit to the office may be necessary. During this pandemic we are equipped with telemedicine. Please do not hesitate to contact the office for routine appointments as well as sick visits if you are concerned about

coming to the office.

 

Hospital visits should be reserved for people who need care that can only be provided there, such as IV fluids, oxygen, and intensive care for respiratory and cardiac support. Contact the office first if you are questioning if care is needed at the hospital.
