FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
Q. What if my child becomes ill while the office is closed?
A. For life-threatening emergencies, please call 911. For urgent medical needs, please call our office at 401-633-1100. After normal office and after hours, calls will forwarded to after-hours triage support team.
Q. Are you accepting new patients?
A. Yes. Please call the office at 401-633-1100 to schedule appointment.
Q. Do you accept walk-ins?
A. We see patients by appointment only. This allows us serve you and of patients better
because it allows us keep wait times to minimum. While not see walk-ins, you should have
no problem getting appointment the same day you call. (See the next question).
Q. How long do I have wait to appointment?
A. In most cases, you can seen the day you call if needed. At times many limit the number of well-child visits can see the sick children to seen.
Q. What age patients you see?
A. We see newborns to 19 year olds.
Q. Do you call-in prescriptions for antibiotics and other medicines?
A. We believe is important to minimize of antibiotics; are almost never prescribe without these examining patient first. For chronically use medications will call-in refills, but routinely re-evaluate patients on long-term medication every six months or as dictated by physician. If possible, refill requests should directed to prescribing physician.
Monday through Fridays 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Saturdays & Sundays are by appointment for sick visits, please call between 8 am and 9 am, as our weekend hours are based on demand.
